Westboine Park Housing Co-op is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Charleswood, where you'll help care for a well-established residential community. Our maintenance team already brings a wide range of skills to the table, so we're especially hoping to find someone with solid plumbing experience to complement the team.

What you'll be doing
Every day is a little different. You might be responding to a plumbing repair, preparing a suite for a new resident, completing preventative maintenance, or helping keep our buildings and grounds looking their best.

You'll spend your days:

• Responding to work orders and general maintenance requests

• Completing plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance

• Preparing suites after move-outs

• Assisting with carpentry, painting and light electrical work

• Helping with seasonal grounds maintenance and snow removal

• Working alongside a supportive team that enjoys helping one another

About you
We're not looking for someone who simply checks work orders off a list. We're looking for someone who notices things, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about doing quality work.

You'll ideally bring:

• Residential or property maintenance experience

• Strong plumbing knowledge

• A valid driver's licence

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience with carpentry, equipment repair, skid steer operation, WHMIS or First Aid would all be considered assets.

Compensation:
$18-$24/hour, depending on experience.
